St. Modwen acquired the 212 acre site in 2003 and undertook an 18 month programme of demolition and remediation work. This involved an extensive environmental clean-up whereby over 750,000 tonnes of earth were removed and over 99% of materials were recycled on site.
St. Modwen has built a new access road to link the site to Avonmouth Way and improve access to Avonmouth, the M5 and onwards to the South West and the M4. To date, approximately 750,000 sq ft of new warehouse and industrial accommodation has been built including St. Modwen’s regional HQ offices. A range of units from 5000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft are under construction on-site with units available for immediate occupation.
An adjoining 100 acres of land is owned by St. Modwen and ongoing development will reinforce Access 18’s location as the strategic employment site in Avonmouth with potential for c. 2.2m sq ft of warehouse / logistics and production accommodation.
Build to Suit opportunities to meet occupiers' specific requirements are also available.
